Hazel is a sweet young boy, considered by many as "pure" by those who know him. He's really courteous, very polite and is overall quite nice to most people he meets. While he's not the type to start conversations, he's a good listener and is empathetic. He is quite generous, willing to give more than receive, and always willing to support and help those who are in need, even total strangers (he's not gullible though). Other than that, he is doggedly loyal and selfless, and believes "true friends stick forever". This makes him quite clingy in some situations.
Hazel is very cute, usually because of his appearance, but also by personality; shy, soft-spoken, and is too delicate for his age. This is doubled by the fact that he blushes a lot from compliments, and has a passion for stuffed toys, sweets, and baking desserts.
Hazel is however, incredibly clumsy sometimes, often tripping and doing dumb mistakes. He also has a tendency to knock things over and break stuff by accident. This is what made him insecure and pessimistic, as he has grown tired of doing mistakes and just wants to be "perfect for once", yet still thinks the worst of things. He is also passive and very timid most of the time, which makes him an easy target for teasing and bullying. There are times where it will get so bad to the point that he's just totally miserable and emotional, which results in mental breakdowns or becoming a shut in for days. Because of his insecurity and fragile mental state, he can still be a bit dependent and needing support. But he still tries his best just to be able to take care of himself.

Hazel has the ability to generate and manipulate radioactive energy. With this ability, he is able to reshape unstable atoms to perform various destructive effects. Though this ability is only limited to the radiation he generates, and not any radiation emitted from outside sources. Due to this, he is able to somewhat cure radiation sickness.
Normally radiation is an unseen hazard, but Hazel is able to generate them having a pick, glowing aura, the brighter the glow, the stronger the emission. He is able to perform various feats, such as firing a burst of destruction, empowering his weapon for more damage, and creatively, generate a forcefield that protects him from radioactivity
Super strength and endurance
Other than his ability to manipulate radiation, he has at least some a little bit of physical prowess with him. While not the brute strength type, he is still capable of performing limited superhuman strength. While he's not fast, he is more durable as his skin and muscles are immensely thick and his bones don't break easily.
Exogloves and Sword
His Exogloves are a powerful micro-technology that grants improved physical strength for industrial work and combat. This device is augmented into his wrists which, upon activation, covers his entire hand. It has 2 stages; one which is the same size of his hand, and the other which is doubled by size and only has 4 fingers (the middle is controlled by his middle and ring). This allows him to handle his giant sword better without the worry of its weight.
His sword, which he names The Slayer (He just loves that band lmao), is normally just a regular tanto-bladed sword which can transform into a gigantic mass of steel. Its combined weight and durability allows it to cut through giant bestiary with ease.
